Wood Types: The lighter wood is Maple. The darker wood is Walnut and Purple Heart for the center line and accents. 

Also included is the original design, which I didn’t follow completely. There is always room to improvise. Originally I had the cross-hatch pattern on the front, but decided it flowed much better with horizontal lines on the front, and vertical/ cross-hatch on the sides.
